The University of Anbar is committed to eradicating illiteracy in sustainable development topics among its students by organizing training and guidance courses, as well as field activities within the university campus. These efforts aim to provide students with a broader understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to familiarize them with the mechanisms and programs offered by the university in support of these goals.
The university also contributes to supporting student teams interested in sustainable development by providing the necessary resources and an enabling environment to foster their ideas and initiatives.
Every year, the university conducts a survey led by the Sustainable Development Unit, which includes a set of questions designed to assess students' awareness and knowledge regarding sustainable development. The purpose is to evaluate the cultural understanding of students in relation to the SDGs and to develop awareness programs that align with their needs, as shown in the link below:
