Using modern methods in free courses
University of Anbar offers a course aimed at developing participants' knowledge and experiences in Microsoft Office software, including (Excel, Word, Data Show, and PowerPoint). This course is offered free of charge and, upon completion, participants will receive degrees from University of Anbar in recognition of their achievements.
Providing an electronic library to assist researchers
In today's rapidly evolving world, there is a significant and sudden revolution taking place in the realm of information and communication technology (ICT) and e-publishing. These advancements have brought about profound changes in the way information circulates, leading to an expansion in developments and a substantial increase in electronic sources of information in various formats. Consequently, libraries and information centers are faced with the imperative to continually update their information, enhance their collections, and improve their services. Moreover, the diverse needs of researchers, along with the abundance and variety of global information, have given rise to various contemporary trends in response to the information age. As a result, electronic libraries have emerged as comprehensive repositories of diverse information sources, facilitated by advanced retrieval systems. Recognizing these dynamics, the Department of Electronic Library is a modern initiative established by the Secretariat and the Central Library/ University of Anbar to effectively address the needs of researchers and beneficiaries in this evolving landscape.
Outreach Activities & access to these activities
University of Anbar attaches great importance to student classes that expand off-campus activities and participate in outreach initiatives. A notable example is the Department of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Industries, which has established a student branch (SC). Within its Executive Committee, the chapter is responsible for outreach activities. Selected classrooms visit local schools for specialized lectures.
As part of its cultural activities, University of Anbar actively participates in the presentation of its academic products, including books, letters, theses, literary publications, and patents, and attracts individuals interested in the heritage and history of Anbar Governorate rich in literature and intellectuals.
Policy to Awareness Activities
The University of Anbar holds a steadfast policy that guarantees equal access to educational awareness activities, such as lectures or presentations conducted outside of the campus. Scientific visits
As part of the cooperation between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Education, a section of the staff of the University of Anbar visited boys' schools. The purpose of the visit was to enhance student's knowledge and academic level by providing them with scientific information. She stressed the importance of these scientific visits and their positive impact on the student's educational journey
