On research in collaboration with government

UOA Business Incubator Unit

The department specifically caters to students, graduates, and researchers from the University of Anbar, attracting and supporting their small and medium-scale initiatives and projects. Through collaboration with the local government in Anbar and the central government's Higher Education & Scientific Research department in Baghdad, the unit strives to convert these initiatives into valuable contributions that serve the community and contribute to the development of the national economy.

 

An agricultural business incubator

The University of Anbar has organized a workshop on the agricultural business incubator. The main purpose of this workshop is to enhance the skills of graduates and prepare them for managing agricultural projects that meet the market's requirements. The workshop emphasizes the adoption of modern scientific methods and promotes sustainable agriculture practices.

 

Conference on Sustainability

The College of Administration and Economics organized its fourteenth annual scientific conference under the theme "Environmental pollution and sustainable development in Iraq." The conference was held in the hall of the University of Anbar Studies Centre.

 

Legal Skills for Anbar Province Employees

In partnership with the Anbar Integrity Authority, the University of Anbar and the Center for Continuing Education organized a workshop at the University of Anbar. The workshop aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the Integrity Commission's law and to promote cooperation between the University and the Commission in combating administrative and financial corruption. The workshop, chaired by Legal, dealt with topics such as defining the role and functions of the Integrity Commission, explaining reporting procedures for corruption offenses, Identifying investigative and investigative methods, and discussing assurances for defendants in administrative and, financial corruption cases.

 

Helping voluntary teams

The College of Dentistry at the University of Anbar had the privilege of hosting Anbar's Happiness Voluntary Team, a non-governmental organization committed to aiding the less fortunate in society by offering medical, financial, and moral support. The team's visit was met with a warm reception from the university and its College. Their main focus is to provide assistance to individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, striving to enhance their overall quality of life.

 

Hosting Local Sustainability teams

The University of Anbar's College of Science welcomed the Amateur Astronomer's Team of Anbar Governorate for an observation event dedicated to studying the moon and the sun. The team's visit aimed to enhance astronomical knowledge and provide an opportunity for students and enthusiasts to engage in observing celestial phenomena.

 

 

Visiting the Law Police

The University of Anbar visited the Anbar Police Directorate to address the justice and peace concerns in the Anbar governorate. The visit aimed to assess the situation and explore opportunities for collaboration between the university and the police department. The university intended to offer the expertise of its law professionals and researchers to assist in resolving the justice and peace challenges faced by the province.

The University of Anbar is deeply committed to the principles and obligations of combatting crime, corruption, and bribery. Our College and staff strictly adhere to the State Employee Discipline Law, Iraq's Penal Code, Integrity Commission Law, and Law of The Federal Board of Supreme Audit, and other relevant legislations to effectively address these issues. These laws and regulations are implemented to establish a campus environment that is characterized by honesty, efficiency, transparency, and high standards. Through the promotion of administrative transparency, our university ensures opportunities for public supervision of governmental administration, thereby reinforcing the integrity of our civil servants and enhancing overall administrative efficiency.

 

Participating in University Decision Making

The University of Anbar established the Career and Development Center (CDC), acknowledging the importance of involving local stakeholders such as regional companies, the local government, private enterprises, and civil society representatives. One of the primary objectives of the CDC is to host an annual conference aimed at showcasing and providing employment opportunities for graduates from various disciplines within the university.

 

Engineers of hope

Engineers of Hope Organization are a voluntary team comprised of students from the College of Engineering at the University of Anbar. This dedicated group is passionate about providing assistance to orphans and elderly families within the community.

 

 

Step of Hope Organization

Step of Hope Organization comprises a dedicated team of students from the College of Medicine who work in collaboration with other organizational teams from neighboring faculties. Their primary focus is to promote health and environmental awareness among fellow students.

Non-governmental organization

This organization is a non-governmental body that advocates for Iraqi medical students within the International Federation of Medical Students Associations. Its primary objective is to promote health and environmental awareness among various communities.

 

 The Ministry of Planning

During a meeting with a delegation from the University of Anbar, the Minister of Planning engages in discussions regarding strategies to enhance development in Iraq.

The second stage of its scientific achievements

In the presence of representatives of local and central governments, the University of Anbar's Crisis Cell holds a press conference to reveal the second phase of its scientific achievements. These achievements focus on the development of health solutions to address the consequences of infectious and microbial diseases and ways to treat them quickly.

Involving in Symposium of other organizations

As part of their efforts to combat hunger and promote sustainable development, the World Food Program (WFP) is engaging in a collaborative partnership with several Iraqi universities, including the University of Anbar. In this regard, the International Cooperation Foundation for Sustainable Development is hosting a lecture highlighting the importance of this collaboration. The lecture aims to shed light on the joint initiatives undertaken by the WFP and Iraqi universities to enhance resilience and alleviate hunger.

In recognition of the University of Anbar's collaboration with health departments, the Director of the Anbar Health Department expresses appreciation for their significant contribution in the production of Viral Transport Medium (VTM) to combat the ongoing Corona pandemic.

Collaboration with the Iraqi Red Crescent Society

The University of Anbar collaborated with the Iraqi Red Crescent Society to organize training workshops addressing disaster management. These workshops aimed to evaluate the performance of disaster-related work, identify obstacles faced, and develop solutions to minimize their impact.

With Anbar Police Command

A symposium held at the Cultural Center of the University of Anbar in collaboration with the Anbar Police Command on societal security signifies a proactive approach towards instigating change and combatting domestic violence within the community.

School Students Visit our University

Students from School for Boys were hosted by the College of Medicine at the University of Anbar. As part of their scientific trip, the students had the opportunity to explore various areas of the college, including the clinical laboratories, anatomy laboratory, microbiology laboratory, central laboratory, library, museum, student club, classrooms, and gardens. This excursion aimed to provide both entertainment and education for the students, allowing them to learn about the College of Medicine's distinctive features, bolster their determination, and enhance their scientific aptitude.

 

Language Institute Visit our University

The College of Arts at the University of Anbar had the pleasure of hosting students from the Language Institute. During their visit, the college organized a series of educational activities, artistic performances, and engaging events. These included a variety of captivating performances, such as poems and other artistic displays, which took place in the prestigious Great Exhibition Hall. The celebration was attended by esteemed professors and enthusiastic students, adding to the overall joyous atmosphere
