Food baskets for students
The University of Anbar, under the guidance of the Rector of Anbar University, in cooperation with the Department of Student Activities, organized a humanitarian event, including the distribution of food baskets to support students of disadvantaged families residing in the Anbar governorate. Anbar University always offers free meals to students of interior departments.
Elimination of hunger
With the aim of combating hunger, the College of Agriculture at the University of Anbar organized the distribution of food baskets to support students facing financial hardship. It is important to note that a total of 50 baskets were distributed as part of this initiative. Significantly, this endeavor coincided with World Food Day, observed on October 16, 2021, a globally recognized day proclaimed by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations. Numerous organizations dedicated to food security, including the World Food Program, join in the widespread celebrations on this special occasion.
Female Students' Food Baskets in Interior Departments
The College of Women's Education of Anbar University organized a noble initiative to embrace the blessings of the holy month of Ramadan, restore the spirit of solidarity and selflessly donate dry food baskets to students enrolled in the interior departments. In the teachings of Islam, Ramadan is of great importance as a time of unity and empathy, urging individuals to support each other and meet the needs of the less fortunate. This act of solidarity is consistent with the principles recognized and ordered by Islam while emphasizing the importance of caring for the poor and the needy.
